Online Browser - privacy surplus

a browser within a browser.
common scenario - IE installed on your computer and even though how technically inclined you claim yourself to be you are still using ver 6.0. (let me laugh at you, sorry).

anyways, you go to this webpage which opens another interface through which you start browsing in "incognito" mode :) . no cookies, no history,no saving of passwords, none of that shite.
a secure online broswer and no installation ,updating tantrums!
everything is taken care on the server side!
pure client satisfaction! :))))

why would you use another browser when u are using your "comunist era IE" ?
1) your IT Admin is a nutcase and swears by default /microsoft products hence won't change nor update.
2)u have a disregard for installing different variations of broswers on your system.
3) you are too old to learn and play with the exciting new browsers in the market.
4)you don't like to help yourself, so let us take good care of your shabby browsing etiquettes.

happy private browsing!
:)

The optimum Browser

Ever imagined what a simple user wants?

An optimum browser, to see only the content of the website ,nothing else.

So a new browser, which removes all types of ads from a webpage, displays only important content,Automatic adjustment (of font, pic etc.).

This will immensely help while viewing content on mobile phones and those tiny laptops hot these days.

Mashed 08

My mashed 2008 entry!

http://mashedplanet.110mb.com/

Crikey, where do i begin! After following Hack Day 07,the Indian Hack day and the Californian one i was so looking forward to attend Mashed 08.
and i did...
we started quite early on the bbc bus (the prelude of arrangements to come) and reached Ally Pally before time. After registering and getting all the goodies, we the bristol-cardiff conglomerate (Not) ala "The Briffs" straightway connected ourselves and began mash-storming enough to attract few passerby's attention.
That being said, we were tired(not enough sleep),hungry and soon were hovering around the breakfast hub to please the devils of the intestinal terrain!
Then began the talks and i attended the Robotics,Lonely planet,BBC API's and the Yahoo YUI one.
When our super awesome real time bbc stream subtitle extraction idea got s(mashed) i resorted to do something unique and interesting and hence began my API lookout.
Since the Lonely planet API's were New and up for the first time to play around with i thought i should give it a go.Plus my traveller self gave me a push to do something for my infinite passion! And it was the idea to include a real time mash up of travel info -lonely planet & wiki + images + real time currency conversion (from GB to the visiting place) and NOT the chumby that gave me the impetus!

voila ..and i discover there ain't no currency conversion API, neither from google or from yahoo ...so my nasty brain thought of a dirty hack...let's invade Yahoo finance and steal some info Real F time!

and thus Mashed Planet was born....

PHP,Curl and text mate later..i was happy testing and uploading till two hours before submission when i thought of giving it a rest while playing some good old guitar tunes on Rock Band on one of the big screens! Top Performer, Great Energy Skills and few bonuses tooo...aha...i like it!!

i slept for 6.5 hours in a total of 72 hours period and i was knackered by the time i got back...but every second was worth it!

The hack, the mags, the food, the goodies, the talks, the games, the ideas, the sleeping bags( i didn't take any but i took two for our coach driver) and the awesome people i interacted with proves how successful mashed 08 has been and i am still hungover as i code my way to glory at work....

Thank you BBC, Thank you Yahoo, Thank you everybody!

Startup(s)

For anybody who is wishing to have his or her own startup 21st century Software industry has this to offer imho.

-->R & D - Innovation never stops. Have an idea? build it, market it, sell it, Hit the beaches :)
we have reaped the benefits from the marvels of 20th century innovation, now its time to give it back.

-->Recognizing new software based on existing software.

-->Giving support to abandoned, obsolete, unsupported software, even if it takes to tweaking it and upgrading it and making it secure for today, for the few who still use it --shouldn't their loyalty be rewarded if u have the expertise? don't worry such loyalists will definitely pay you.

--> Fix bugs, get rid of them, upgrade what can be upgraded.

--> Arrangement to support software or buy it outright.

Spoketh

or can be called Weblang 2.0 (web 2.0 ,social networking as a standard) or Translang or LangTrans.

People interact with each other while asking Language related,Language translation related,Language meaning related questions - communicating and learning languages in a much easier way, what say??

A site totally dedicated to real time learning of foreign language with a twist of interacting with the beautiful people planet earth has to offer!

I came up with this idea while discovering myself (i am a language freak :) and through various people who cannot speak their newly learnt foreign language with anybody around.

Email Widget

An application as a widget or popup in browser with which we can send 500 chars max messages(short email service - SES) to any email id. This widget can be built by any major email providers like yahoo, gmail, hotmail and with it people can login one time securely and then send ses* in a jiffy with the touch of a button. Next time you want to send an email, no web login or outlook or any other software needed!!

Security and anti-spam surety is the main concern!

Secure Login

Not another article or attempt at redefining standards but a simple honest attempt and securing privacy and countering intrusion!

If someone is bent on going past a network, computer or a simple login webform he or she would succeed because nothing is more secure or successful than determination and will.
But, something can be done to as a precaution/countermeasure before and after the intrusion. Delay and i mean sufficient delay is the only solution imho because time is and always will be a great factor.Importance of "Delay" should be acknowledged as simple but effective solution as explained below.
Systems should be secure enough to cause a delay in an ongoing attack so that administrators (not lazy bums who pretend to know everything) or constant monitoring admin-bots who observe day and night can counter attack or kill an already fast spreading computer virus.

The first measure of delay in today's world would be the introduction of double password check technology or dual password recognition ,both passwords being unique, which would enable the use of two possible encryption technologies or even same encryption technology with double precision, force and stability.

Dual Password Theory would revolutionize security because with two passwords stored in two separate databases, two separate computer, two separate servers, it would require double the effort to break the passwords located at two different entities. The servers or computer or databases will not communicate with each other but they would both individually communicate with the recognition technology to give access to the valid user.

The delay caused in intrusion or validation will alert the sys-admin or admin-bot which can
temporarily but securely disable further login thus restricting access and preventing loss of data and valuable information.
